The official anthem of 2008’s champion Team Rajasthan Royals – ‘Halla Bol’ has got a new makeover under the creative expertise and guidance of new stare-holder and co-owner sexy and gorgeous Shilpa Shetty. The Halla Bol number is based on Rajasthani folk songs and has been composed by popular music director Anand Raj Anand.
When she had swung her hips to Aayee hoon UP, Bihar lootney, Shilpa Shetty had clean bowled many people across India. Shilpa Shetty performed in Rajasthan Royals’s new music video as item number.
Shilpa is so enthused with the anthem that she is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the newly launched music video based on the anthem is better than anything that she has ever done before. She has shown her popular jalwa in the video. She dances to the team anthem Halla Bol, sung by the popular Indian actor, TV personality & a folk-pop singer Ila Arun. Ken Ghosh, who’s now making the film Kaminey with Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, directed the video. Ken Ghosh is a former ad-filmmaker who directs a music video after seven years. She has worked on the costumes, accessories in advance and has also roped in ace choreographer Ahmed Khan for the music video which was shot in Jaipur.
Says Shilpa Shetty, Chief Executive Officer, S2 Global Productions Ltd and co-owner Rajasthan Royals, “I’m so glad Ken is making an exception for me. We chose Anand Raj Anand because he’s an expert at catchy folk songs. I first worked in a film with his music, when he scored for Pardesi Babu. I was simply bowled over by the numbers. Today when I hear the song he has composed for our team I feel deeply enthused.”
