Nickelback is a Canadian hard rock group (melodic undertone with modern arena rock sound) formed in Alberta. As with many bands, Nickelback’s lyrics mainly deal with intimacy. The band Nickelback is comprised of Chad Kroeger (lead vocals and lead guitar), Ryan Peake (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Mike Kroeger (bass guitar) and Daniel Adair (drums and backing vocals). In November 2001, Nickelback releases its third opus “Silver Slide Up” (Good Times Gone, Hangnail, Hollywood, How You Remind Me, Just For, Look What Your Money Bought, Never Again, Too Bad, Where Do I Hide, Woke Up This Morning), which boost them to top. The music group Nickelback goes back to live tour, around the world this time.
In 2003, Nickelback released “The Long Road” (Another Hole In The Head, Because Of You, Believe It Or Not, Do This Anymore, Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good, Figured You Out, Flat On The Floor, See You At The Show, Should’ve Listened, Someday, Throw Yourself Away).
After separating from Ryan Vikedal (drums), replaced by Daniel Aldair, the music band presents their fifth and new cd album in 2005 “All The Right Reasons” (Animals, Far Away, Fight For All The Wrong Reasons, Follow You Home, If Everyone Cared, Next Contestant, Photograph, Rockstar, Savin’ Me, Side Of A Bullet, Someone That You’re With) where “Photograph” definitely ranks high up in hum-ability. “All the Right Reasons” has already sold more than 3.7 million cd albums in the US and over 5.2 million cd albums in the world.
Music band Nickelback has been nominated several times for Grammy Awards: Record of the Year in 2003 with “How You Remind Me”, Best Rock Song in 2004 with “Someday”, Best Rock Album in 2004 as well with “The Long Road” and finally Best Hard Rock Performance in 2005 with “Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good”. Nickelback has also been nominated for some other American Music Awards.
Some of their original songs appear on popular movies such as: Spider-Man (2002), Daredevil (2003), Charlie’s Angels (2003) or The Punisher (2004).
